Easter Monday Description
Easter Monday (Second Easter Day) is a public holiday in Denmark and the fourth day of the extended Easter break. The day is more relaxed than Easter Sunday, with families gathering for lighter meals or excursions. Many Danes visit amusement parks — Tivoli in Copenhagen opens its spring season around this time, and Legoland in Billund draws families from across the country. Shops remain closed by law. It is common to have a second round of "påskefrokost" with different friends or relatives. The holiday provides a gentle transition back to the workweek after the Easter celebrations.
