Easter Sunday celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the central feast of the Christian faith. Finnish Easter traditions include children dressing as "pääsiäisnoita" (Easter witches) and going door-to-door with decorated willow branches to exchange for treats — a custom blending Orthodox palm traditions with Nordic folklore.
