Official Holidays

Indonesia has the world's largest Muslim population and observes Islamic holidays alongside national commemorations and religious holidays of other recognized faiths. Idul Fitri and Idul Adha dates follow the Islamic calendar. Independence Day (August 17th) is the most important national holiday.
